Description

This is an early 19th-century building on London Road, comprising numbers 54 to 58. It is constructed of Suffolk yellow brick and is two storeys high. The building has three pilasters, a plinth, and a pantile roof. It features five windows, with sash windows in flush frames, each with a flat arch above. The entrances have six-panel doors, reeded architraves, and arched heads with plastered tympana, although number 54 has panelled linings instead. Number 56 has been rendered with a stippled finish and now has casement windows. Number 58 is painted and its windows have lost their glazing bars. Numbers 51 to 61 (consec) and numbers 63 and 63A form a group.
