Description

The Limes is a 18th century house located on the east side of The Green in Hartest. The building features a red brick front that conceals an earlier timber-framed and plastered structure. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The central doorway is topped by a Victorian porch, which has a swept lead-covered canopy supported by posts. The roof is tiled and includes a moulded and dentilled wood eaves cornice.
