Description

Thatch Cottage is a small timber-framed and plastered house that dates back to the 16th century, with some external features from the 18th century. It was renovated in the 20th century and is a single storey building. The cottage has a three-window range with small two-light casements and boarded doors. The roof is thatched and half hipped at the west end, featuring a central chimney stack. The original roof structure includes clasped side purlins, and the interior reveals some exposed timber framing.
