Description

Newhouse Farmhouse is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house, designed in an L-shaped plan. The front wing was refaced in the 18th century. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, along with a four-window range on the ground storey. There is a single-storey bay window and a central doorway that is topped with a pedimented porch supported by plain columns. The roof is tiled and includes a tall chimney stack with attached shafts located at the rear wing.
