Description

This is a range of red brick houses located on The Street in Assington. The houses, numbered 13 to 15, form one block, while numbers 16 and 17 are a separate block. The date of construction is likely the 19th century, although there is a possibility that the frontages are a refronting of an earlier timber-framed building. The houses are two storeys high, with four window ranges in the first block and two window ranges in the second. The windows are 2-light casements, featuring glazing bars. The doorways are plain. The roofs are tiled, with two and one central square chimney stacks respectively.
