Description

The Baptist Chapel is an early 19th-century red brick building with a hipped slate roof. It features a single-storey entrance lobby on the south side. Above the central entrance door, there is an inscription that reads: "Baptist Meeting House. On this site stood the Old Meeting House, which was open for divine worship 1763. Rebuilt 1825." The chapel has two storeys, with a two-window range on the south side and a three-window range on both the east and west sides. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames with segmental heads.
