Description

The Castle is a building dating from the 18th to 19th century, designed in the style of a castle fortification. It features a quadrangular layout that includes the main house and outbuildings, all with castellated stuccoed walls. The house is located in the south-west part of the complex and includes a two-storey circular angle tower and a three-storey projecting circular turret topped with an octagonal slate roof. To the north, there is a two-storey circular turret that serves as the entrance to the barn, and beyond this is a "Gothic" window with four lights and brick tracery. The east side has larger blocked windows with interlacing tracery, which screen the other outbuildings. The roofs are covered with slate and pantiles, set behind embattled parapets.
