Description

The Old Cottage is a house with probable origins in the 16th century, featuring later alterations and additions. It has a timber-framed structure and a thatched roof, and it is one storey high. The building has an off-centre lobby-entry plan with a later rear range. A 20th-century gabled porch is present. The exterior displays close-studding with a down brace to the left, a pair of 2-light casement windows with leaded lights, and a low 3-light 20th-century window to the left. The stack has been rebuilt, and the roof is hipped to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
