Description

Nos 98 to 100 on High Street is an early 15th-century hall house. It is timber-framed and plastered, featuring cross wings at both the north and south ends, with a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics, and the upper storey of the south cross wing jetties out at the front. There is a four-window range, primarily consisting of casements, while the south cross wing includes double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The entire ground storey of the main block has been extended with a 19th-century double shop front. The north window also has glazing bars. Inside, the property boasts very fine heavy beams.
