Description

The Chequers is a timber-framed and plastered building with features from the 17th and 18th centuries. It has a tiled roof and a square chimney stack at the ridge. The building is two storeys high and has small casement windows. At the north end, there is an 18th-century ground storey bay that features double-hung sash windows with glazing bars.
