Description

Bridge House and Riverside House, probably originating from the 15th to 16th century, is a timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof, featuring cross wings at both the north and south ends. The building has been renovated, and the timber-framing is exposed on the north side of the north cross wing. It stands two storeys tall, with windows that are a mix of casements and double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars. The north cross wing includes a small 18th to 19th century shop bay with glazing bars, while the south cross wing has a doorway and a ground storey window with a tiled canopy above. A ridge chimney stack is also present.
