Malting Farmhouse is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof and a ridge chimney stack. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range of 18th century casements. The entrance includes a six-panel door set within a wooden doorcase topped by a pediment on shaped brackets. At the south-west end, there is a later one-storey extension with attics, which is faced in painted brick.
