Description
The Laurels is a 17th or 18th century timber-framed house that has been plastered and partly encased in red brick in the early 19th century. It features a modern tiled roof with gabled ends and has a rendered brick chimney stack that is off centre, with an external stack at the north end. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows include 19th century casements, with two on the ground floor set in segmental-headed openings. There is a right-hand fielded panel door that has a modern wooden porch. To the left, the plastered section has 19th century three-light casements with glazing bars and a plank door. The left-hand end has an additional bay that is either 18th or 19th century with a lower roof.
