Description

Melrose Cottage is an 18th and 19th century cottage built of plastered clay lump with a pantile roof and gabled ends. It has two storeys and three windows. The first floor has two-light and three-light casement windows. On the ground floor are a one-pane fixed-light window, a large three-light window, and a sash window. A three-panelled door, one panel glazed, serves as the entrance.
