Description

Chestnut Cottage is a mid-19th century red brick cottage with a black glazed pantile roof and gabled ends. It has two storeys and two windows, with painted stone heads incorporating keyblocks over sashes with glazing bars. A central panelled door is sheltered by a wire lattice porch with an ogee arch and tent-shaped roof, topped with a rectangular fanlight. The building is included on the heritage list for its group value.
