Description

The premises of Smith and Son is a building from the early to mid 19th century, constructed of painted brick with a slate hipped roof. It features small brackets at the eaves and stands two storeys tall with four windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. The entrance is off centre and includes a Doric doorway adorned with fluted pilasters, an entablature, a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, and a panelled door. To the left, there is a Victorian shop front that has a fascia and cornice supported by end brackets.
