Deal Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-frame house with a roughcast exterior. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and has a large brick chimney stack that is off centre and located at one end. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are modern 3-light casements. The doorway is off centre in front of the chimney stack and includes a modern glazed door and porch. There is a later single storey wing at one end and a one storey plus attic gable-ended wing at the rear.
