Description
Poplar Farmhouse is a 17th century house featuring a plastered timber frame with 19th century brick-faced end walls. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and consists of two storeys plus an attic, which includes a window in the gable end. The front of the house showcases a central two-storeyed gabled porch adorned with 19th century shaped bargeboards. The doorway is flanked by fluted columns and features a hood, while the windows are a mix of two and three-light casements and a glazed door, all with 19th century drip moulds. There is a brick chimney stack at the north end and another brick stack at the rear (west). Additionally, there is a later lean-to structure at the back.
