Description
Blackthorn Farmhouse is a 17th-century building that has been fronted in 19th-century yellow brick. It features a steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with an attic. The façade includes two late 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, a late 19th-century gabled brick porch at the centre, and a splayed bay on the right. A central brick chimney stack is present, along with an attic window in the gable end. To the left, there is a late 19th-century gabled cross wing that is one storey and an attic, featuring sashes without glazing bars and shaped barge boards.
