Description

The Moat House is a 17th century or earlier plastered timber-frame house with brick-faced end walls. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with an attic. The west front has three widely spaced windows, which include small two and three-light casements. The ground floor has a modern gabled porch and a bay window, along with an off-centre brick chimney stack. At the rear, facing east, there are three widely spaced windows with modern casements.
