Description

Ye Olde Chequers is a building likely dating from the 17th or 18th century. It features a plastered timber-frame construction with a brick plinth and a thatched roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are three small two-light and flight casements, while the ground floor has three and four-light casements. There are steps leading up to two plank doors. A small later one-storey wing is located on the left (west) end of the building. Additionally, there are two brick chimney stacks.
