Description

No 78, known as Double Cottage, is a 17th or 18th century timber-frame cottage that has been encased in painted brick. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and has an internal brick chimney stack located near one end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and includes one gabled dormer. The windows are 19th century casements, and inside, there is a stopped chamfered ceiling beam.
