Description

Mayfield Farmhouse is an 18th-century red brick farmhouse. It has a steeply-pitched pantile roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and has three windows on the front elevation. The first-floor windows are three-light casements with leaded panes, while the ground-floor windows are also three-light casements with segmental brick arched heads. A brick gabled porch is positioned off-centre to the right of the main facade. An attic window is located in the end wall. A brick chimney stack is present. An adjoining red brick addition, with a lower pantile roof and two windows, is attached to the left side of the farmhouse.
