Description
The King's Head Inn is a 17th-century timber-frame house that has been fronted in red brick with blue brick headers in the early 19th century. It features a gable-ended roof covered with pantiles, with the left end having an original steep pitch and black glazed pantiles. There is a large brick chimney stack located off-center at the junction of the roof. The building is two storeys high and has two window ranges, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor windows have side lights and flat rubbed brick arches above them. There are two doorways, one positioned in front of the chimney stack, each featuring pilastered doorcases with cornices and flush-panel doors.
