Description
A 17th-century timber-frame cottage, altered in the 19th century and recently modernised, is situated on Pockthorpe Lane in Denton. The walls are rendered, and the roof is covered with black glazed pantiles and has gabled ends. An internal brick chimney stack is located near the south-east end. The cottage has two storeys, featuring 19th-century and modern casement windows. A modern door is positioned off-centre. Inside, the exposed timber-framing and a chamfered fireplace bressumer are visible.
