Description
Beech Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Green Lane in Wymondham. The building is timber-framed with a brick addition to the north and features pantiled gabled roofs. It stands two storeys tall, with the entrance front facing south. The entrance includes a 20th-century door beneath a single 20th-century casement window. A brick ridge stack is positioned to the right.
To the east of the gable, there is a one-storey and dormer attic addition, which has an outshut attached to its south side. This addition features 20th-century casements, including those in the two sloping dormers. Access to this addition is through a timber door on the north side.
A full-height, two-storey cross wing is attached to the north of the main block, ending in a shaped gable that has an internal gable-end stack. The entrance to this wing is through a timber door set to the left, with a two-light casement window above and a three-light 18th-century casement window on each floor to the right. There is also one gabled dormer.
