Description

Walnut Tree Farmhouse is a late 16th century house that features a rendered timber-frame construction and a tiled roof with gabled ends. The southeast end is faced in red brick and has a stepped gable topped with a prominent chimney stack that includes three moulded brick octagonal shafts. The building has two tall storeys and three windows, which are fitted with modern metal-frame casements. There is a 19th or 20th century pilastered doorcase located off centre, leading to a panelled door. At the rear, there is a long and lower plastered wing with a corrugated iron roof.
