Description

The Old Stores is a building likely dating from the 17th century. It is a plastered timber-frame house with a steep pantile roof featuring gabled ends. The building has one storey and an attic, with 18th and 19th century casement windows. A modern porch with a stepped gable leads to an 18th century fielded panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight. There are two modern wedge-shaped dormers on the roof. An off-centre brick chimney stack is present, along with a single storey wing on the west end that has an 18th century casement and an external brick stack at the end. The east end features a 19th century wing with a lower-pitched roof.
