Description

Chestnuts Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house. The exterior has been plastered, with a brick gable end at the south, incorporating a chimney stack. The roof is thatched, with gabled ends, and has a brick stack positioned off-centre. The house is one storey high with an attic, containing two gabled dormers. Windows are 19th-century casements. A moulded doorcase with a pediment frames a panelled door. A 19th-century brick lean-to has been added to the north end.
