Description

Malthouse Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house. The exterior is rendered and the roof is thatched, with gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is located off-centre and at one end of the building. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window in the gable end. There are four windows, along with 19th-century and modern two and three-light casements and a modern ground-floor bay window. An early 19th-century doorway, featuring reeded pilasters and an entablature, leads to a flush-panel door, situated near the left-hand end of the property.
