Description
Alexander's Farmhouse, also known as Alexandra Farmhouse, is a 17th century farmhouse constructed with a timber frame and faced in plaster. It features a pantile roof with gable ends and stands two storeys tall. The building has four windows on the front; the first floor includes three modern casements and one small old three-light casement with leaded panes. On the ground floor, there are three 19th century two and three-light casements along with central modern French windows. The farmhouse has brick chimney stacks. On the rear (east) side, there are three old two and three-light casements with leaded panes, as well as a modern ground floor conservatory and a lean-to at the end. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timber-framing and chamfered beams.
