Description

Mere Manor, located on Victoria Road, is a 17th-century building constructed from timber framing and brick, with a plastered exterior and a red tile roof. It stands two stories high with attics. The first floor features casement windows, while the ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars. The entranceway is adorned with a pediment supported by consoles. The building displays ornate barge-boards and mid chimneys with decorative shafts. In the 19th century, it was altered and converted into flats, and the entrance is now accessed from Shelton Road.
