Description

Nos 1 to 4 on Diss Road are a row of 17th century timber-frame cottages with a red brick front wall added in the late 19th century. The cottages have a steep roof with gabled ends; No 1 features a slated roof while the others are tiled. They are two storeys high and have six windows, mostly 19th century three-light casements. Nos 1 and 2 have modern ground floor casements and all have modern glazed doors. There is a yellow brick band at floor level. Inside No 3, there is a stopped and chamfered ceiling beam.
