The building is plastered and features a hipped roof covered with black glazed pantiles, topped by a central brick chimney stack. The front of the lodge has a central pointed arch doorway with a boarded door, flanked by two 2-light gothic casements. A verandah extends across the front, supported by fluted columns and covered with a slate roof. The side wall facing Bungay Road is constructed of red brick and includes one 2-light gothic casement.
