Description

Chestnut Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century and early 18th century. The east range is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a steep corrugated iron roof with a brick-faced gable end that includes a chimney stack. The building has one storey and an attic, with a dormer that has a catslide roof. The west end is constructed of early 18th-century painted brick, has a steep roof with an internal stack in the end gable, and consists of two storeys and an attic, with two windows that are 18th-century three-light casements.
