Description
Granada is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century and later, located on The Street in Gillingham. They are constructed of red brick, which is partly colourwashed, and feature a steeply pitched roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic and have a range of five windows, which are wide sashes with glazing bars and architraves. The right-hand opening on the ground floor has a segmental head. The doorway to No. 14 has a half-glazed door, a moulded architrave, and a fluted and dentilled entablature. There is an axial stack located off centre to the east and an internal stack at the west gable. No. 16 features a modillion cornice and has one sash window on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Additionally, there is a catslide roof over a lean-to at the rear.
