Description

Vittoria is a two-storey roughcast brick house dated 1847, located on Parkes Lane in Low Tharston. The building features a pantile roof with gabled ends and is arranged in three bays. It has lintels with keyblocks and sash windows that include vertical glazing bars. The central entrance consists of a panelled door framed by a moulded architrave topped with a broken pediment. Above the door, there is a stone inscription that reads: "This House with the Brick Kiln built by Major General Sir Robert Harvey 1847 in which year 2 millions of Bricks were burnt for the Railway." Additionally, there is a lean-to structure on the south end of the house.
