Description

This is an early 19th century pair of houses located on Redenhall Road, Redenhall with Harleston. The houses are built of yellow brick with low-pitched slate roofs. They feature plain brick pilasters at the centre and corners. The houses are two storeys high and have four windows to the front, with sashes containing glazing bars, each set within a flat brick arch. The doorways are round-headed, with semi-circular fanlights above; number 42 retains a panelled door, while number 44 has a more modern glazed door. Two brick chimney stacks are present. Number 42 has a wing set back slightly on the right-hand side, which is also two storeys high and has one window.
