Description
The Flat, also known as Haddiscoe Lodge, is a 13th-century building located in Redenhall with Harleston. It is constructed of painted brick, with the left side finished in stucco. The building features a steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. There are three windows in total; on the first floor, there are two-light wood mullion and transom windows set in moulded cases, while the ground floor has one three-light casement window and one modern three-light casement window. The central entrance consists of a fielded panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, all framed by a moulded architrave with a cornice. Brick chimney stacks are located at both ends of the building.
