Description

Lakes Farmhouse is probably of 17th-century origin, though it was entirely re-faced in 19th-century red brick. It has a steeply pitched pantile roof with gabled ends. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, featuring a window in the gable end. There are three windows, with two and three-light casements having painted stone lintels and keyblocks. A panelled door is set below a matching lintel. A central rendered chimney stack rises from the roof. A brick wing extends to the rear and is covered by a steep roof of black glazed pantiles.
