Description

15-17 Surrey Street is a former house, now used as an office, built in the 18th century by Matthew Brettingham. The building features red brick with a rendered plinth and a pantile roof. It stands three storeys tall and has five bays. The central entrance has a door flanked by Doric columns that support a pediment, with six steps leading up to it. Sash windows are present throughout, each with rubbed brick flat arches above. There is a bracket cornice beneath the parapet, and the roof is hipped. The building also has 20th-century side additions.
