Description

The bandstand at Eaton Park was built between 1924 and 1928 by A Sandys Winsch. It is made of colourwashed stone and concrete, featuring a copper dome and designed in a classical style. The bandstand has a circular plan and is supported by eight Tuscan columns that rise from a stepped plinth, holding up an entablature and a hemispherical dome. This structure is centrally located among the quadrant pavilions and is a key feature in the significant group of buildings within Eaton Park, which is listed in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II*.
