Description
The water pavilion at Eaton Park is a park pavilion built between 1924 and 1928 by architect A Sandys Winsch. Constructed from concrete, it features a parapeted roof and showcases a modern style that recalls Mogul India. The building is two storeys high, with the upper level forming a verandah that encircles the structure. The ground floor has boarded windows and a central passageway that leads to internal stairs on either side. This passageway opens to a canted front that faces the yachting pond, topped by a flat-roofed clock tower. The roof is adorned with a balustrade. The pavilion is part of an important group of structures within Eaton Park, which is listed in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II*.
