Description
No. 60 Bracondale is a house, now used as an office, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a rendered plinth and features a pantiled roof with a gable-end brick chimney on the left side. The building has three storeys and five symmetrical first-floor windows. Access is gained via three steps leading up to a six-panelled door, which has two glazed panels, set in panelled reveals and flanked by pilasters topped with a pediment on consoles. The ground-floor windows are adorned with chamfered brick arches and have flush-fronted wooden frames. The first-floor windows feature flat gauged brick arches and large-paned sash windows throughout. The façade includes two plain brick string courses and a moulded eaves cornice, with lead coping on the gable parapets. There is a later two-storey canted bay on the left side elevation, along with later extensions to the rear.
