Description
Shire Hall Chambers is a Grade II listed office building constructed in 1907. It is located on a corner site and features a bath stone exterior with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and is divided into five bays, with the outer bays angled back. To the right of the central bay, there is a door with a moulded surround, a three-light fanlight, and a heavy hood supported by consoles. The windows are mullion and transom style throughout, with additional upper lights on the first floor. Above the central window, there is a decorated pediment with scrolls, flanked by single-light casements. A string course runs along the first floor, with brackets beneath the windows, and the hipped roofs are topped with finials.
