Description
The barn at Old Barn House is a structure dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is attached to the south of Old Barn House. The barn features brick walls on the south and east sides, while the west and north sides are constructed of flint with brick dressings. The roof is covered with red pantiles. It is a three-steaded barn with a central cart entrance on the north side. There are brick-dressed ventilation slits on the east and west gables, and the west gable displays brick diaper patterns. The east gable has a brick plinth, brick kneelers, and a parapet, while the west gable has a parapet without kneelers. The barn has a seven-bay roof supported by four tie-beams, butt-purlins, collars, and wind-braces. The north side has 20th-century tiles. The barn is listed for its group value with Old Barn House.
