Description

The Church of All Saints is a parish church built from flint with stone dressings and slated roofs. It features an octagonal west tower, a nave with a north aisle, a south porch, and a chancel. The tower has a 2-light Decorated style west window, cusped belfry openings, and four "Y" tracery bell-chamber windows with pierced quatrefoil openings above. It is topped with an octagonal parapet. The south porch and chancel were designed in the Perpendicular style by architect Frederick Preedy in 1869. The nave's south wall includes three 3-light Perpendicular windows, while the north clerestorey has five 2-light square-headed Perpendicular windows. The north aisle contains Perpendicular 2-light windows on the east and west sides, a north door, and three straight-headed 2-light Perpendicular windows. The chancel features two south straight-headed Perpendicular 2-light windows and a 3-light Decorated east window.

Inside, there is a Perpendicular tower arch supported by corbels, and a five-bay Perpendicular north arcade with octagonal piers and double hollow chamfered arches. The chancel arch, also in the Perpendicular style, dates from 1869. The pulpit and reading desks, designed by Preedy, showcase inventive open work tracery. The north aisle includes reused 15th-century poppyhead benches, and there is an octagonal font adorned with heraldry. All roofs were constructed in 1869.
