Description

Nos 5 to 9 Brigg Square is a pair of houses, with No 5 dated 1648 and featuring the initials TRA. The buildings were constructed in 1793 and are two stories high with attics. They are made of flint and brick, and have near-flush frame sash windows with glazing bars, although two of these windows have been altered. The roofs are covered with pantiles. Inside No 6, there are 17th-century roof members, ledged doors with wrought hinges, and large fireplaces that are covered. Nos 1 and 2, along with Nos 5 to 9, form a group with No 47 Freeman Street.
