Description

Nos 123 and 124 on Walsingham Road are a pair of cottages built around 1840. They feature flint walls with brick dressings and a red pantiled roof. Each cottage has one ground floor and one first floor iron casement window with glazing bars, both topped with rubbed brick flat arches and brick dressings. The cottages also have boarded doors with brick dressings and rubbed brick arches. Notable architectural details include brick quoins and a dentil eaves cornice. A central stack is located on the ridge, and there is an outshut at the rear with a tall stack. These cottages are included for their group value.
