Description

This is a farmhouse with an attached stable, dating from the 17th century, with later 19th-century additions. The farmhouse has whitewashed brick walls and a red pantiled roof. It follows a two-storey lobby-entrance plan, with three sash windows with glazing bars on both the ground and first floors. There are two boarded doors, and a 19th-century estate plaque is above the north door. The north gable and rear wall are constructed of brick and flint. The end gable is parapetted, with stacks and one stack positioned off-centre. A two-storey stable and loft is attached to the south, built of flint with brick dressings, and featuring a red pantiled roof.
